Preseason schedules have been released for all teams with 5 or more players. Rosters will remain open throughout preseason, so teams who did not have 5 by today are still able to get 5 by next week in order to get preseason 2 schedules.

Roster locks are explained in more detail in last week's news post.



Preseason 1 matches must be played by Thursday, August 6th 11:59 PM PST. Teams are allowed to schedule and play any time between now and then. However, teams are allowed to "force" their opponent to play on default day and time, which is Tuesday August 4th at 8:30 PM of your conference's time zone.



Teams must respond (post) on match comm by Monday at 10:00 PM of their respective location's time zone. Failure to post by then can result in your opponent filing a forfeit win.



MATCH DAY

On the day of the match make sure to start your client well in advance - that way you can make sure that it works fine before the time of the match. Once it's actual match time then you should start it up for real and select your match and click "Start". Make sure you do this BEFORE launching CS:S.

Once you have ACS fully running then open up CS:S and join the match server. Ensure that the server is running zBlock 4.4 and that they have the latest configs from our website. The current configs are version 1.5.

There should be 10 players in the server (5 from each team) 15 minutes after the scheduled match time. If a team does not have 5 players after 15 minutes, the other team is allowed (but not required) to file a forfeit win.

Once everyone's ready - it's time to play your match!

It is extremely important that you LO3 the match with the config labeled "matchlo3.cfg". This will make the reporting proccess much easier.

Make sure you record demos for each half of the match, and at the end of the half take a screenshot (default key for this is F5) of the scoreboard (TAB). The only people required to do this are the leaders and managers of the team. However, we STRONGLY recommend that EVERYONE takes it. We may need it to verify scores in the result of a dispute.

Once the half ends make sure to execute the server config called ecoend.cfg. Failure to do this could lead to stat tracking issues.



AFTER THE MATCH


Once the match has been completed, the leader or manager of the winning team can login to the site, click on "My Matches" on the right-side menu, and then click on "Report". The report page has a box for you to enter in the server you played in (IPADDRESS : PORT). It defaults to the server you agreed on in match comm, but it can be edited in case of a last minute switch. Once you're sure that it is correct then click on "Next" and the site should present you the available scores for each half of the match. Once you select an option, it will show the stats that it gathered. Repeat for each half and OTs, and then verify and submit the scores.

DISPUTING A MATCH

Team leaders and managers are able to file disputes for the match. On the My Matches page, there is a "Dispute" button for each match. Press it and follow the instructions. Make sure to check up on it periodically for updates.



TO RECAP:

1. Default day is on Tuesday

2. You MUST play on or before Thursday

3. You MUST post on match comm by Monday @ 10:00 PM

4. You MUST play with our AC client.

5. You MUST record one demo per half

6. Leaders and Managers MUST take end-half scoreboard screenshots.

7. If you are not a manager or leader, you SHOULD take end-half scoreboard screenshots.

8. LO3 the match with MATCHLO3.CFG

9. Exec ECOEND.CFG at the end of each half

10. Start the new half by repeating step 8.

11. At the end of the match, repeat step 9.

12. Report your match via the site.
