This group is meant to be a place where people can organize their own events and maintain a somewhat level environment for everyone to enjoy.

SERVER RULES

1. Play nice, don't be an ass.

2. Don't be too think skinned either. I'm not going to ban someone just because you don't like them or they insulted/offended you. (That being said, if you push it too far and too often, you will be banned)

3. No griefing.

4. Don't spam the chat.

5. This is a cooperative server, if you're not helping, find a social server.

6. There is no rule six.

7. Be patient with newer players. It's okay to kick them if they're being too much of a hinderance, and you shouldn't be holding their hand the entire way, but don't piss on them just because they're new.

Hey everyone, bet you can guess what this announcement is about from the title alone.

THE PRIMARY SERVER WILL SHUT DOWN ON 5/18/17

THE CAVE SERVER WILL SHUT DOWN ON 5/12/17.

Yes, the server is closing. No, I'm not joking, and no I will not change my mind, sorry.

I just don't play Don't Starve Together almost at all anymore. I'm sinking my own money into the upkeep of a server I no longer participate in other than keeping it up to date and running.

Not to mention that owning a server takes a lot of the fun out of playing the game as well, as some of you might be well aware.

That being said, I'm glad I did open up this server, its introduced me to a lot of good people. I had a lot of fun while it lasted and don't regret anything about it.

As for the group page, I dunno. You can't exactly delete groups on Steam. I'll think about that later.

The modlist is still posted on the front page, so I encourage everyone who enjoyed playing here to take that list and make their own servers to enjoy with your friends.

Thanks for playing people, hope to see you all around so we can Not Starve together another time.

Server's Public Once More

Hey everyone, as I mentioned before, I have made the server public once again.

I wanted to do a bit more research into mods that would assist me in the anti-griefing process, but life finds a way of screwing over your plans and I've been away from my computer the whole weekend.

The way things are going I doubt I'll be able to really sit down and focus on this until this coming weekend, but the changes I make will hopefully affect the server in a positve way. You'll have to bear with me though, I'll be editing code and that is not my strong suit.

In the meantime, enjoy the server, since it'll be a bit busier than it has been recently.

For those of you who were against the server going public again, if things go well, then I might be able to accomodate you in the near future.

since this group is just a normal dst group mow i want to promote a server of mine where you survive as normal but i try to do things like spawn hounds to make things harder

the name is survival with a twist

pls join i get bored of waiting for people :3
