Remote play together is awesome, just too limited.
Indeed. They should offer an option to allow any game (Steam or Non-Steam), similar to what they allow people to do with Proton (manual override).
Also add controller switching so you can play multiplayer games together.
A lobby browser to find people who stream certain games would be nice too, just like in Parsec.
Valve can you give us an option to override remote play together so even non steam games with the steam overlay can stream and share controls?
I have some local shared screen multiplayer games which i purchased from other stores, the games are also available on steam with remote play together but I do not have the steam version.
I really hope non steam game support will arrive at least at some point, maybe when beta testing is over?
Best regards.
It should be a straightforward thing to do, just remove/change the check for the "Local Multiplayer" tag.
