Green Screen on Client
Hi,

I got the following problem when I try streaming a game to my Laptop:
I start streaming a game. The host starts, the client then goes green.
It has black borders which fit the resolution the host uses. Meaning: they are at the top/bottom when it's wider and left/right when it's less wide. Tried a few resolutions.
All keyboard and mouse input is flawlessly transferred. So I could basically use my laptop as a controller. :)
I hear no sound, but that might be my sound settings... didn't test that properly yet.
I tried starting the game on my desktop and then start streaming because i read some games got problems with launchers. Had the same results though.
I tested the following games: Portal, Portal2, Mirrors Edge, Gta Vice City, Bioshock Infinite. All show the exact same results.

My Computers:
Client:
It's an old Vaio, resolution is 1280x800 and it got an Core Duo T7100 Processor, 2Gb RAM, Win7 x86.
My Host is my desktop.
It got 3 Monitors. 2 small at 1280x1024 on the outside and one with 1920x1080 in the middle.
It has a Radeon HD 7900 Series Gfx Card with 3GB VRAM. I think a 7950... but I'm not sure. ^^;
And an core i5 3570K as cpu. It's running on Win8.1 x64.

If I need to give any more information on whatever, please feel free to ask. :)

What video card does your Vaio have? Does disabling hardware decoding in the advanced client settings help?

Ha, I feel like an idiot now. :)
I tried that as host setting but totally didn't see the client option.
It works great now. And sound wasn't a problem after all, I still had the settings for my tv and just needed to change the audio out to the laptop speakers.
If it's still of importance, my laptop has a Geforce 8400M GT GPU.

Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the info. Do you get a green screen for all games, or just those at a particular resolution or aspect ratio?

Before, I got it at all aspect ratios and all games.
But it's gone when I disable the hardware decoding. I did try some games with it and all worked like a charm.
