The situation looks like this:
- I hold the right mouse button and run around a bit, turning my camera here and there.
- I release RMB.
- I try to hold it again after few seconds, but as soon as I press it, My camera instantly teleports to the top of my character so I'm looking at my character directly from the top. While still holding the RMB I set my camera behind the character and release RMB
- I then again hold RMB after few seconds, this time it's fine, so I release it.
- I then try to hold RMB again and the camera teleports to the top instantly.
Currently it happens only in Wildstar, other games works fine.
It doesn't bother me that much because I'm using combat mode, so my camera is locked all the time without holding RMB.
The behavior I noticed is that the client seems to hang and send the same last recorded key strokes and mouse position for a certain amount of time. It result in 7dtd in a screen freeze on the client for some seconds (mostly 1 to 4 max) then I teleport to the place where I should be if I have kept the key pushed as I was before the hang.
NB: I have wired network (Gigabit network using SGE2000).
If I click and hold the button (more than a half second) I dont have the problem, but If I just want want to move the camera a little bit with a "touch of a mouse-click", then the mouse/camera jumps to a completely wrong direction
I'm resurrecting this thread because it has the latest Valve response to this issue and I'm hoping to get some kind of update. This is still an issue as of the latest stable release (4/13/2015). I'm experiencing this issue with Final Fantasy XIV, but after reviewing the other threads it seems it affects all MMOs.
Personally I'm experiencing this streaming from Windows 8.1 host to Windows 8.1 client with a wireless mouse attached to the client. However, after reviewing other threads the issue does not seem to be related to OS or mouse hardware.
My setup works fine without jitters in FPS games (I've tested w/ Borderlands).

Edit: I did a little bit more testing with FFXIV and it appears that:
-Jumpiness only occurs for me when I depress LMB or RMB while the cursor is already moving (even very slightly)
-If the cursor is stationary when LMB/RMB is pressed then things are fine.
-If I release LMB/RMB while the cursor is moving then things are fine.
These results are in alignment with the poster in the 3rd thread that I linked.
Edit2: Also note that the camera jump always goes in the direction that the mouse was moving. Here's an example situation:
The camera angle is parallel to the ground facing my character, and I'm moving my cursor top to bottom. I click LMB halfway through the movement. Instantly the camera will jump to a top down view of my character.
If I were moving the cursor bottom to top then I would get an up-close view of my character's chest looking up from the floor.
Edit3: Something else I noticed: There is a cursor trail in FFXIV. When this issues happens, the position that the cursor appears at after letting go of LMB is NOT as far along the cursor trail as the last visible location of the cursor was.
Edit4: Found a workaround: FFXIV introduced a software cursor at some point recently. Enabling the software cursor eliminates this issue. It's a rather unfortunate workaround though because the software cursor is *really* slow.
