id just like to say this also worked for me
Batman arkham origins 768p windowed (that was the settings i put it in) and then alt+enter, and now it runs windowed just like my laptop would normally run it but with more horsepower from my new desktop

Desktop is using windows 7 HP 64 bit, with msi mobo and gpu, + an intel cpu
Laptop is HP Pavillion DV7

Seems to be quite broken on mac, when attempt to resize window it just appears to halve in size every time, without being able to freely adjust, rather annoying!

I can't seem to get into windowed mode from a steam link from a steam game.

ALT+ESC works for alt tabbing out when using the steam link
