Please update video drivers!
A number of bugs have been fixed in the latest video driver releases that may affect streaming. If you are getting poor performance, graphical glitches or black screens please make sure you have the latest drivers installed from your video card vendor's website.

On my systems all drivers are of course the latest available.

I get a massive grafical glitch when streaming on to my laptop. Basically I get the picture in grayscale in the right resolution but also the picture colors 4 times bigger than normal and shifted to the bottom right. Any ideas?

Any game or a particular game? Color depths are the same?
Milk Jan 15, 2014 @ 4:01am
All games, all resolutions and and ya colordepth is the same. Driver is as uptodate as possible considering I got a inteldriver that got crippled for my device. What intel is doing is really evil.

Your hosting computer is a Windows machine and your client machine (notebook) also? If yes, is the hosting machine locked (logon screen) or was ever connected via Remote Desktop since last boot?
Milk Jan 15, 2014 @ 4:20am
Yes but it still happens after a complete reboot. Both machines are win 8.1 pro (no RT)

Your hosting computer (where the game is running) is active too or not? This stream technology is not working if you are not logged on. You should see both screens with the same content. And only on one of the screens it shows wrong colors?
Milk Jan 15, 2014 @ 4:24am
Both are logged on and only the laptop shows the wrong colors.

Than it's your Intel driver. If you have a notebook with dual graphics, you could change the assignment for the Steam client.

Sadly I only have the intel I can chose and this is basically the first problem I have with it.

I think it's a matter of memory. To be able to display content in a particular resolution with a particular color depth there should be enough memory. And I don't think your Intel GMA solution is able to address enough memory. That's the reason why you see this weird colors.

I am watching fullhd on youtube and twitch using this device and therefor I do not think that is the case.

Been trying to make numerous games (Sonic Generations, Fallout: New Vegas, Orcs Must Die 2, Left 4 Dead 2) to stream to my laptop with a 2nd Gen i5 and an Intel HD 3000 chipset. Almost all attempts have failed. What I get is a static image of whatever was on the screen when the client opened. If I alt-tab out and open it again, I'll see an updated snapshot. I can hear sound just fine.

Orcs Must Die 2 does at least show the custom cursor in real time, but everything else is unresponsive.

The only time it hasn't is when I managed to get Fallout to work. Once. And when I did it was completely smooth and I managed to get to the tutorial. There was one problem and that was the intro video was rather quirky as sometimes most of the video would stick except for about a 200 pixel square in the top left, but gameplay and menus seemed unaffected. It's not my drivers.

I keep seeing this in the streaming logs, is this a bad thing?
