Tomb Raider - Low framerates as well, but unlike TW2 the host ran perfectly fine, the lag was only visible on the client.
Bioshock Infinite - When I try to stream, I get the "preparing to run" dialog then after a few seconds I get the timed out dialog. The game then opens on the host but not the client.
CS:GO - Runs nice, but with some framerate drops
Dota 2 - Runs perfectly, constant 60fps
Host: Win7 64 | i7 920 | 12GB ram | GTX 560 ti x2
Client: Win7 64 | AMD Phenom II 2.1GHz | 4GB ram | Radeon HD 5470
This is great, I ran Far Cry 3 on my Laptop around 40 fps
Host: Win8 64 | i5 2500k | 8GB RAM | HD 7950 Boost
Client: Win8 64 | i3 3200m | 8GB RAM | HD 4000 (integrated graphics)
Non steam games (not sure if u guys care):
Guildwars 2 now works. 1080p, 60fps, unlimited band
Battle.net (Hearthstone/WoW) doesnt work anymore - they used to. I can open the loading battle.net screen (that streams ok) but it gets stuck in this. On the host the battle.net launches works ok, no crashes or anything.
Stuff simply stops streaming to the client.
Client: coreduo-2.0gHz, arch i686, 2GB, GM450 integrated, wifi ~30mbps
Games that didn't work so great:
Games that may or may not work great:
Games that streamed good/great:
Final Note: I can't reproduce this and I have no useful data to follow this up with, but I will say on two rare occassions today my Client Stream process simply stopped working. It didn't crash/exit or anything it just "froze up" forcing a hard reboot of the system since the process couldn't be killed off in anyway. (host continued to run fine and there were no network problems. Nothing unusual in the log files unless some x264: VBV underflow warnings could have played a role in it.)
Portal 2
STO
AvP Dx9 & 11 launchers.
Non-Steam
Battle.Net - Diablo 3 - Plays smooth. Only issue I've come across is when leaving the game the stream reverts to the client and doesn't want to close the stream. But for a non Steam game this is still awesome. I've put in the bulk of my playtime like this in the last 2 days.
Crysis and Test Drive Unlimited 2 could fo with a bit of optimization. The screen gets choppish sometimes, like GTA IV used to before all updates. Feels like fps drops.
GTA IV now runs flawlessly, no more chopishness or whatever, its really smooth.
BTW: my mbair trackpad doesnt work as it does in windows 7 (i m running w bootcamp). I usually just tap to click in the desktop or games. Using IHS I gotta really click, simply tapping it doesnt work =(.
Also, I gotta say, the latest updates are fantastic! I played alot of ESO during that games beta and it looked like a 480p youtube video, now it looks and feels just lika playing the game locally. Fantastic!
however I've noticed some issues with non steam games:
Diablo 3:
I could start the game with its battle.net launcher but if I quit the game I'm stuck in the launcher since there is no way to quit.
Titanfall:
Titanfall doesn't start on the client. I could start the game, the host launches it but nothing happens at the client. Streaming Titanfall would be really great!
Also streaming is a nice workaround for games without steam cloud like Banished, Project Zomboid, State of Decay or Starbound
Walking Dead Season 2 works fine.
