Like, you want to play music through the host pcs speakers?
yeah, basically when you stream the audio on host machine gets cut off and present in the client's stream exclusively, the idea is, I have 42 inch tv as my secondary monitor and want to use the client(laptop and mouse) as just the controller while using the TV as monitor, kinda make sense?

Is your host PC set up to the 42 in tv?
Well yeah. I have it as primary monitor and default sound device too, since usually when i don't use it i just turn the TV off and my normal monitor became my main.

Anyway, you know how it simply take away the host pc's sound completely and now present in the stream, maybe i'll put this as a feature request on "remote play" where instead of stream, just use other device to control the game instead.. I don't know, sorry for my poor english by the way.

This is pretty overkill for what you're trying to do. Maybe try out an app called InputDirector. I've never tried it for gaming, but it does exactly what you're looking to do if I understand correctly. You can use the mouse/keyboard on one device (ie laptop) to control another device on the same network (ie desktop)

You can go to the speakers icon in your system tray and unmute audio.

Wait a second so it only automatically mute the speaker for host?

Good to hear that it's something as simple as mute!

Are there any plans to have an option to control/disable this auto-host-mute capability? It would be nice to not have to do this every time.

I second this.

Sometimes I want the audio muted on the main PC, sometime not, so I'd also like to see this option available from within the Steam settings.

Maybe even have it as a launch option to the streaming client. (Ask the user before beginning the stream).

I have a wireless keyboard, that I pass between both systems, I play on and it's nice that it has volume controls right on it (including a mute toggle) which saves having to alt tab to desktop on the host and unmuting there.

If only this were the case with us all.
I personally want the option to either have sound on both or one or the other!!!

<EDIT>
NM...I got it. I thought there wasn't a way to that. Duh
