ABOUT Got Hope

Are you without hope? Need some one to talk to? Need a real friend? Lacking the joy and fulfillment that this world promises? WE CAN HELP!!!!!

Mathew 11:29 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” – Jesus

Before you continue, If you are without hope right now, you must first realize that you are WITHOUT HOPE, but hope is in your grasp. What we will tell you will seem foolish, but it has given us hope because we were in a state of hopelessness. It may defy logic, but when you understand it, it defines logic.

Now, before you turn away, Check it out and see how you can have true hope.

Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our good works are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our small sins, like the wind, have taken us away.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

This is talking about spiritual life.

John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:”

God has told believers, in the Bible “Let your conduct be without greed; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we may boldly say: ‘The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?’ ” Hebrews 13:5-6

Our hope is in God. We are condemned by our sin, but God loves us so much that he has provided a way for us.

The Bible says that you must believe in Jesus (Who He really was and what He did), and accept God’s free gift of eternal life, to be saved from mandatory, eternal punishment in hell and to go to heaven. Jesus died on the cross for your sin and arose on the third day

But what is the difference between normal belief and saving faith? After all, the Bible says in James 2:19 “the devils also believe, and tremble”. True faith is a belief that changes what you do. You can believe in Jesus, but if that belief does not change your actions then it is a dead faith (like one who says that they believe, but their actions consistently indicate otherwise). James 2:26 “faith without works is dead”. True saving faith is a belief that will change what you do. Also, doing good without faith in Jesus will not save you.

You can talk to God any time by praying, but He will not hear you unless you are saved.

God wants to talk to you. He talks to us through his Bible. Once you start reading a lot of it you will not be able to put it down. We are drawn to it in an unexplained way.

1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

6:14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

15:16-19 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

15:3-8 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

15:51Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Jeremiah 9:23-24
Thus says the Lord
“The wise man should not live for his wisdom,
The physically apt man should not live for his abilities,
The rich man should not live for wealth,
But let him who lives boast in this,
That he understands and intimately knows Me,
That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness,
judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord.

What are you living for?

How does Jesus invite me to experience Him?

Jesus called out to Peter and Andrew, “Come follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” And they left their nets at once and followed Him. Mathew 4:19-20
