Hey guys! I wanted to share a quick announcement about the future direction of No Man's Mines and when you can expect the next Demo update to land.

After working on the game for a while, I’ve decided not to go down the path of typical "incremental mining" games with generic upgrade trees. Instead, I’m pushing the game much further into the survival and exploration genre!

Since I am also planning to add co-op in the future (hopefully before the 1.0 release!), this survival focus works much better for the game overall. On top of that, I’ve been constantly refining the visuals, the game now looks much more coherent and has a clear identity of its own.

I actually have enough changes ready for a small regular patch right now, but I want to hold off until the full survival pivot is ready.

This will take a little time, hopefully no more than a month, fingers crossed! My goal is to make this update substantial enough to serve as the final major overhaul for the Demo. After this drops, all future major feature updates will be focused on the Early Access release.
