Scheduling games, and the like

I want to make it as easy as possible for people to get playing games together. To that end, I've given everyone in the group permission to schedule group events if they feel so inclined. :)

Also I've done some technical wizardry and written a program to find which games group members have in common. I've added the results as a link in the group profile. It's a little rough at the moment - it doesn't filter out non-multiplayer games, needs to be updated manually and is ugly as sin - but I hope it's a useful start.

Well, the game is four years old now so you'd hope even aging computers of today could run it pretty smoothly. :) I think they updated it to a new engine when they introduced Mac compatibility in 2010, but I'd hope that wouldn't degrade performance on older systems too much.

Unfortunately I think this is the best forum-like place Steam has to offer for groups at present. :( We could probably set up a forum or some other external solution if there's enough interest.

Woah, Portal's running a lot more smoothly than I remember Civilisation V running. Anyone else experienced the same? Also, is there a better place to post things like this? :D

OK, so I haven't been on Steam for so long that I thought I had a much more exciting username than I actually have. Still, I like to do my bit; be part of things. Imagine me sitting on the sidelines politely clapping.
