Speaking of the Outerworld Addons mod btw
No, the files are packed and encrypted, you have to use Cocoon.
If you're running the BAT file as Admin, don't do that, it messes up the installer. If that's not your issue, you'll have to be a lot more clear on what the problem is.

you didn't just extract the files into a single folder then drag/drop THAT to the weis folder did you?(might sound like a stupid thing to do but it's an easy mistake and more common than you'd think)

Thanks for the MOD Krisan, color xbox button mod is awesome :D
btw, I think you had some typo in Install Outerworld Addons.bat

Here:
echo Patching JP Files...
echo ==================================================
cd .\mod
Cocoon.exe inject2 filelist2a.win32.bin white_img2a.win32.bin ".\Data" db\resident\wdbpack.bin

JP Files are filelist2v.win32.bin and white_img2v.win32.bin, right?

Yeah there's a small error in it, I noticed it earlier. I uploaded a slightly earlier build by accident where I hadn't finished the batch process yet. I'll have the proper one up shortly.

EDIT:
Done. I was actually going to wait to do this until I released something else later today-ish, but now works too.

Thanks!
Do I need original files? Or just use fix version? (I'm already used the previous version)

You can just redownload it, and repatch. You don't need to restore backups. This was a minor thing, didn't cause any damage just a little goof from me uploading the wrong archive, heh.

Just so everybody knows, The Thirteenth Ark is currently not working with the latest update. They patched the EXE, which is how the mod works through... so right now, you'll get an error if you try to load your schemata names.

I updated the Ark just a bit ago, so it's good to go. And yeah the other two should still work as well as is. :FFXIII2cactuar:

I read that unlike 13-2, the missing stuff in LR (Aerith Garb, basically) doesn't have the model files in-game this time. I'd imagine that makes modding it in much more difficult than it would otherwise be. Does it make it impossible or impractical, though? Or tentatively still doable, just something that would take a fair bit of time? Or is there just not enough info?

I'd wager you can probably find the Aerith files if you can download it on a ps3 or 360 hard drive, then explore that particular part of the game's files via exploring the ps3/360's hard drive by using it as an external drive. By going through all that, you'll eventually find out how the files work and get the data that way. Is it difficult? yes. But it is doable.

It's neither impossible nor impractical, but it's not happening right now either way. It's going to take some time to do, some research, and maybe some vodka. :FFXIIIlightning:

Thanks for the insight. "Not impractical but not being worked on" is actually a lot better than I expected to hear.
