Original Font Mod (FINAL RELEASE)

DESCRIPTION

This mod is intended to restore the game's original font.

UPDATE

The font used is now a pixelated version of Chicago font and all text now fits within their proper places. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused with all of the updates, but I don't think there is any more I can do for this, so pending some grave error I may have missed, I'm confident that this will be the final update. The numbers have been corrected to be more accurate to the SNES version.

INSTALLATION

1. Download the file from here:

2. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Final Fantasy 6\obb\font

3. Backup the Arial-Bold file, or just rename it and replace it with the font file from the download

Hey, I wish someone could put the Woosley script back in as well. The guy gets a lot of flack now, but his writing is what gave Squaresoft's game their charm back in the day. I just released it, enjoy! If you find any other issues other than what I've already found just let me know and I'll see what I can do about it.

This isn't Chicago... This is the DOS system font. What site did you get the font from? Standard Chicago doesn't have serifed i's and l's, and its g is a standard 9-shaped g.

I've got this folded into A World Reborn and Project Atmaweapon. If you download the manual packages on moddb, you can install the font mod without any of the other mods!
