Recently, a workaround for using custom materials on models in Casual was brought to my attention. Was going to try poking around with it myself, but Liteflame on GameBanana's already beat me to the punch.


And please let them know that their work's appreciated! Also, please keep in mind, there's a lot of femme pyro files to juggle. Don't be too hard on them if there's issues, they're fixing what they can, and the method for getting this to work is pretty janky.

I suspect there's going to be issues that just can't be fixed, because you're basically tricking TF2 into displaying the materials with cached memory with this method.

Still, femme in Casual in 2023? I'll take what we can get!

Not as big of an update as I'd like, but people are hankering for them new items.

Today's the ten year anniversary of the upload of my Scream Fortress 2012 Femme Pyro Zombie Fix, known now for most of that time as Femme Pyro Renovation. Can't say when I uploaded it that I expected things to be like they are now, for myself, the world, or for TF2. But, I'm happy to still be here, and still keeping up on her. Put out the big update a few months back as "Year X," so nothing going up just yet, but rest assured, getting some things prettied up[cdn.discordapp.com] for the next one all the same.
