KOTH_Battle_Cube_Mk3 map and server announcements

This map is meant to be a mind bending small koth map with a rather unique way to capture a single point that compliments the confusing nature of the arena.
The whole design is based on its 45 degree rotation with the BLU being built on the ground and everything facing the celling and the RED team built on the right wall facing the left, creating the illusion of players running on walls.
There are only two seperate spawn rooms for both teams on either side that are nicely spaced apart so spawncampping isn't a big issue.


Now, how in the world will I even get into these servers when they are open?

Good question, these will be mostly hosted with Hamachi so you'll probably need that, download that HERE! [secure.logmein.com] I recommend downloading the unmanged version
Since this isn't a "How to install hamachi" tutorial or what ever, I'll skip over that and assume that you've gotten it open and running.
Now you'll have to connect to a network that I'll be using to host. Click the small "network" button to show a small dropdown menu and then you'll click "Join an existing network..." and now you'll get a little pop up window with
Network ID and Password.

Remember, the ID's and passwords are cap and space sensitive

It doesn't matter what network you join aslong as you're in one of them it should let you join the server. If one of the networks are open, try the next.

Sadly you can't just join the map through hamachi if you don't already have it downloaded, which you can download it HERE! [www.dropbox.com] or download it on the groups main page. Now with it downloaded you'll want to navigate to your TF2's map folder

If you run Windows 64-Bit then you'll go:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\maps

If you run Windows 32-Bit then you'll go:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\maps

If you use OSX system it will be:
users/<username>/library/applications support/steam/steamapps/<steam username>/teamfortress 2/tf/maps


If a server is currently being hosted then you'll join by launching TF2 and opening your Dev Console and typing in

connect 25.39.25.190

If you don't know how to open your Dev Console, then while you're in-game, you should open the options menu and click the small "advanced" button near the bottom of the options window and check the small "Enable Developer Console" then press your Tilda key (The button to the left of your 1 key) and you might have to press Shift+Tilda whether or not TF2 is willing to take your sass today....
