Vassal[www.vassalengine.org] is a free, open-source boardgame engine that players can create and use fan made game modules on. Apparently Fantasy Flight Games has endorsed the BSG module for Vassal and I do own the base game (though not the expansions yet).
Here is the BSG modules[www.vassalengine.org].
Vassal isn't the prettiest or simplest software to use but how I found out about it was through Quill18's Youtube channel and he made a helpful How To video (below) but he explains how to install Vassal, the modules, and the basics of what to do in the module.
I'd be happy to teach anyone new to the game, and I'd expect it to last 2-4 hours depending on how many people haven't played it before and it's a bit slower using Vassal. That being said, I feel that it's a relatively easy game to pick up on and in fact I played a four player game on Monday night (in person) with two first timers and we wrapped it up in 2hrs 15 mins. Also the great thing about Vassal is we can save at any time and pick up where we left off.
We'd need to use Skype or Dischord or something similar to speak to everyone in game so a mic would be a must. I'd need some help organizing and/or setting that up.
My thoughts on how we would play.
First game (and maybe first few) would be with the base game only. Ideally with 5 players though 4-6 will work as well. I can host and teach as we go along to any newcomers. I'd aim for 1-1.5 hour sessions, preferably starting around 10PM EST (UTC -5). I can do any nights other than Mondays. I could potentially do Saturdays/Sundays around 3PM EST which might work as well.
Here's a playlist starting with the How To BSG on Vassal from Quill18 as well as a bunch of rounds of him and some other YTers playing through the boardgame on Vassal. After the How To I'd skip to Board Game Night #2 if you're interested in seeing how the game plays as the first game was way too lucky for the humans.

Anyway let me know if you're interested in giving this a try.
Feel free to move this to the Multiplayer section after it's had some visibility!
