For those of you old enough to remember "Adventure" or "Colossal Cave Adventure" as it came to be called, the old Stanford University project and the original text adventure that spawned Muds, cRPGs, Text Adventures, Adventure Games, Point and Click and more os being made by non other than Roberta Williams. She is most famous for running Sierra and designing Kings Quest, one of the games that changed gaming forever.

Anyway... the fact that one of the oldest computer games ever invented is getting a remake, and it is from Roberta Williams who is like a previous generation John Carmack, as in an absolute legend in game design and pushing the envelope of what gaming was, is making this game is just astounding.

You definitely can't kill a dragon with your bare hands in shadowgate. The text adventure joke was the game would ask "with your bare hands?" When you type kill dragon. Reply yes and it will complete the puzzle and state you did in fact kill the dragon with your bare hands.

I'm not into the point and click games. There are a few really good ones, like Six Ages, but yea. Not my cup of tea.
