couldn't agree more. and the last three bands don't really come to my mind first when those genres are mentioned.

i'm not a big fan of "leæther strip" and "front242" personally but "skinny puppy" is in the top #3 of my favourite bands- besides "napalm death" & "front line assembly"). at least that's what last.fm says.

there is a connection to "leæther strip" though: the band "arzt+pfusch" is danish, too.

wouldn't call Napalm Death "industrial"... but each to their own. I was super into industrial music during the 80s and then into the 90s. Still got boxes of old lps from bands like Nitzer Ebb, Bigod 20, Ministry, Revolting Cocks, 2000 Homo Djs, KMFDM, Front 242, Skinny Puppy, Christian Death, Klute, Cabaret Voltaire, Laibach, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, test department, Acid horse, nurse with a wound, .... man I could go on... boxes of this shit.

me neither. it's grindcore. has nothing to do with industrial at all. actually i don't like the original industrial music genre itself.

i was born in düsseldorf, germany. hometown of bands like "kraftwerk", "deutsch amerikanische freundschaft", "propaganda", "die krupps", etc. these are my musical roots in regards to electronic music, especially the first two mentioned bands.
