Neptunes Pride Multiplayer Game #2

OK the first game is over so I'm going to start a new game, i really want 8 people so if we don't get 8 from here i'll post on reddit too.

I'm definitely in for this. I had alot of fun last game. It would be even more fun with 8+ active players.

Agreed. BTW Drexy I was harbouring a grudge the whole first game for stopping my expansion at Fay. Ha!

BTW i think we should play the next game anonymous using different names + i can hide wins so people don't just fall into old alliances, what do you guys think?

O and if theres any other settings you think we should use feel free to suggest them

Yeah I like that idea Drex. Playing anonymous would be better I think, so I guess you would have to turn the Anonymity to extra. As for for other settings I'm fine with what they are. If you feel you would like to change something let us know.

I suspect even with anonymous it wouldn't take long to figure out who was who. I'm agreeable to anything. I like the default settings. The only setting I wonder about is the full dark galaxy setting... that would add a new level of unknowns. I suspect the game would play very differently. Does that change tech trading?

No just you won't know whos who if we use different names just as long as people don't tell each other out of game :P

I'm game if you want to do a dark galaxy or whatever is fine by me.

Drex are you going to start looking on Reddit for more players? I'd like to see all players come from this group, but I doubt it.

Sign me up, I wasn't interested the first time it came up...but seeing that there are still people interested in a 2nd game has intrigued me. I'll do it.

Come on people, we need 3 more to make it a full 8. Fun game where diplomacy is based on your interactions with others, and has a good level of strategy.

I agree. It's an elegant and simple game of strategy and diplpmacy. Not much time requirement. You can easily check on your empire and communicate with others via smartphone, tablet, or computer. There cab be some very interesting diplomatic swings as friends become enemies as to win you need 50% of the stars to win. It's a mature game in the few and simple game elements work well together. All technologies are useful and some stars become very stategic. It is easy to learn as well. Check out a tutorial game to see if it is something you'd be interested in. Also it's free.
