After Rogue Trader this is not unexpected.
I do hope the system is a bit less boring though.

Hmm,. they are leaning all the way in, huh?

Yeah, seems so.
I dunno but a Inquisition screams for a 1st Person RPG game.I read the book and it seemed perfect for it.Still looks great though.

Would have preferred another Pathfinder game from them. I'm not into 40k that much. But we'll see

I understand what you mean, but I'm curious to see how they pull this off. Pathfinder doesn't have as wide a reach as the Warhammer franchise.

Which book? I read the old inquisitor novel from way back when, and couldn't get into the new stuff.

Eisenhorn?

I read this one back then:

Eisenhorn I just got bored with the first novel.

Not saying the Ian Watson was great. I preferred his Space Marine novel. Of course non of that works anymore with the new canon.

Dark Heresy was a very cool rpg book published by FFG... when they lost the license I stopped playing it after a while... I think it has moved to another publisher, but I stopped paying attention. For the record.. Rouge Trader was also a FFG rpg.

Rogue Trader was also the miniature game system that would then be rebranded into Warhammer 40K

Standalone novel or the omnibus?

There's also the Inquisition War.

The first novel when it was published.

The inquisition war I kinda linked to...
It is interesting though to see the changes between the original trilogy and the adaptation to the new lore.

huh?

40K Was a reskin of Warhammer, the fantasy version. As in literally just warhammer in space. I mean it is well it's own thing now... but back then it was basically just a reskin. Rouge Trader was 1998 and always had the 40K title, even when it was only in white drawf.... and 40K was 1997 and 1983
