Wishlisted.
Glad Amp is having a go at it.
Colour me unimpressed.
Then again Civ is a broken, tired franchise, so if all they do is deliver Civ but less formulaic, they'll gain great success.
I happen to think Endless Legend is the most overrated game of the last 5 years, so I have severe bias here.
edit: and wtf is that trailer all about? A Neanderthal Techno DJ...:S
I'm with you on the trailer. Until they showed some actual graphics towards the end of it.
I wishlisted it to follow it. Not gonna buy it until after it's out and I can watch let's plays. Mostly due to my partial agreement with you on Endless Legend.
Not if it was 85% Civ2 clones.
Civ is a beast in terms of sales, Amplitude seem to be doing the polish of the Endless games with the instant familiarity of standard Earth. Any 4X casual that likes Civ but unwilling to try other styles of 4X may buy. That'll be huge for 4X.
They better try and release on consoles too.
