Hello my fellow block Ponies.

Today is the day...

The Equestrian Elementals Server is going down for good.
We had some funny times together and I thank you all
for the support you gave to us. But in the meanwhile, Sunset Shimmer and I have lost interest in Minecraft and focus more on other games like
TF2 or Overwatch!

Dont worry, we will still make the EqEl 3 Modpack, so you can play it on your singleplayer adventure! If you are planning on making your own EqEl Server in the future, contact us here via Steam so we can add your server to the Multiplayer list!

Anyways, I met some cool people during this and wish all of you the best in your Life! You are all awesome!

As the title says, Mojang will release the next major Update of Minecraft called "The combat Update".

Equestrian Elementals in its current state is pretty much dead, but we will release a 1.8/1.9 update (depending on developer) for this Modpack. So i made myself a little FAQ for EqEl at the moment and for the future:

Is 1.7.10 at the moment even supported by you guys?

No its not. Support will be active again for the next major update of EqEl.

Will the map be wiped?

Yes it will. Due forge incompabilites we have to do a map wipe. But this is pretty normal for a modded Minecraft environment.

This modpack had a ton of flaws and annoying mini updates. Can you prevent this in the future?

We are aware of our mistakes during those updates and it will take some time before we will release Equestrian Elementals 3. We will doing an intern bug-test between mods. This will likely result that we are sort mods out which are currently in the latest EqEl update. Before we add new mods to our modpack, we will test this mod if its compatible with other mods AND plugins. We can already tell that mods like Ars Magica will have bad cards for being in the next update because of a little flaw called "soft NBT". Those soft NBTs cannot be registered by any plugin and can result in unfixable griefs.

You had 2 streams with JanAnimations in the past. Will there be any more streams?

Jan did a video a few months ago about his current C&D situation with Hasbro. Go watch it.

Hello my fellow players.

EqEl is still alive! Hurray!

Anyways I want to point out some things about the 1.8 Update.

I guess we will not update to 1.8 but more likely to 1.9. The reason is simple:
the Code of Minecraft has changed between 1.7.10 and 1.8, also it changed a lot betweem 1.8.8 and 1.9 Snapshots. So Developers dont want to push the 1.8 update by now and they are waiting for the 1.9 release. This means we have to stay on 1.7.10 (like all the other Major modpacks on Technic) and wait for the mods we use to update.

In this time, I will tell you a few other things aswell:

->Yes, the Equestrian Network is still a thing. We wait for the Vanilla 1.9 update and then we will release our new Minigame server.

->No, we wont take over the map in EqEl to the next update, since its pretty much impossible due Mod IDs

I cannot post more updates until 1.9 is released (and with it the server software)
