Is there a script to Follow all games in my Steam Library?
I'm looking for a way to automatically add games in my Steam Library to my Steam Follow list. The aim is to get updates for these game in my Activity feed.

I've played around with Enhanced Steam but it doesn't appear to be able to do this. I also stumbled upon this Reddit thread discussing the same thing, but it's doesn't look like anything came of it.

Does anyone know if this can be done programmatically because doing it manually sucks.

EDIT: User raing3 in this reddit thread linked me to a script he wrote that does exactly what I needed. I removed several items from my followed items and ran the script and it added them all back.

Here's a direct link to the script on github if anyone else is interested: https://github.com/raing3/Steam_Scripts/blob/master/SteamGameFollower.js

I see you only have about 800 games, so it wouldn't be an immediate issue. Past a certain point following games will absolutely tank your Big Picture performance.

800 shouldn't be an issue but I couldn't tell you what number would be, just that drastically reducing games followed makes the aforementioned tanking stop. The other thing would be BP, if you don't use that, whatever.

The reason I mention it is that I suffered from the problem for months before finding a solution and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I do like the idea.

EDIT: of course I make it sound like it's just your library size to worry about. That was a bit foolish. It's total games followed. The library size comes into it when you are talking about adding another 800 games to a list of x already followed. I was following most of my library and countless others.

I don't use big picture mode but that's good to know.

I've followed all the games I own manually, did it in bits and pieces yesterday but the process sucks. You have to go to the All Games list, open the links menu for a game, open the store page from that menu in another tab, then go to the tab and follow the game. Repeat hundreds of times until complete.

There are other ways, like clicking Follow in a game's community hub, but that's harder to navigate to than the way I did it.

I don't know why games aren't automatically followed when they're added to your library, or at the very least have a Follow button in the All Games list.
