Emocore ist eine Spielart des Hardcore. Der Begriff läßt sich auf den Begriff Emotion zurückführen – deshalb ist besonders auffällig in Abgrenzung zum „normalen“ Hardcore: der stärkere Bezug auf persönliche Inhalte als auf politische (wobei sich dies hier nicht unbedingt ausschließen muß).
