12 years of development...

Duke Nukem Forever would finally hit store shelves on June 10th, 2011 to an international audience, June 14th in North America and March 29th, 2012 in Japan. After all of that time in development HELL, the king's return would unfortunately be met with critical acclaim and poor reception from gamers across the spectrum, many believing it to be a "copy-paste shooter game." However, this did NOT hinder the views of a large group of people. Some new to the franchise and some stepping away from the Duke 3D scene to enter a whole new realm of fun.

June 12th, 2021 marked a day where we all came out to Twitch or to this very group page to celebrate Duke Nukem Forever's 10th Anniversary with a competitive tournament that had a $200 grand prize! Our winners have since been declared and they are:

1st Place: Jelley0 = $200 Winner!
2nd Place: Mr. Tediore = $100 Winner! (Charity)
3rd Place: Vanilla Whale = $50 Winner!

This page may have started out as a gathering for players who'd like to play in the big anniversary tournament but popularity has shown that there is more to these events than just playing Duke on his birthday. We enjoy Duke Nukem Forever and the tournaments before have proven that we MUST do more friendly competitions in the future! However, if you ever see another one announced, know that there will be fun, there will be blood and there will be many more things to come! I can not and will not promise anything, but one thing I'm boldly certain of, is that there WILL be more tournaments!

Good day everyone!

This is the FINAL release of the build for DNFCT's 3v3 Clan Tournament! Please follow the link here[drive.google.com] and HAVE THIS MAP PACK READY BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT BEGINS!!!! Follow the README instructions included in the zip to properly install and uninstall the pack.

For those of you who have downloaded the pack, make sure you don't have an earlier version. Please redownload the pack if you do. You'll know your pack is up-to-date if Penthouse's name was changed to Duke's Penthouse in your multiplayer section. If you're one of the few who is having trouble seeing the new names, just load up one of the main 10 maps (NOT DLC) and see if the new maps load.

If you're having trouble with the maps AND the names changing, please ensure that Steam isn't overwriting your local files with cloud saved files. Update your DNF with the map pack and turn off cloud storage for Duke Nukem Forever. This should ensure that the game isn't overwritten with files on Steam's end.

If you have any other issues, please reach out to me (StarNukem) right away! I'd like for there to be as few hiccups in the setup of this event as possible. With that said, any players who are NOT ready for the event will have their matches continued without them until they get everything working. We will NOT hold up the tournament for anyone who isn't ready. Please don't be "that guy."

AVOID TWEETY!!! - CHEATER EXPOSED!!!

This is an urgent message to all Duke Nukem Forever 2011 players:

For those of you who may not know, Tweety is a long-time player who has been cheating online in Duke Nukem Forever as of this recent year but every day his cheating seems to evolve and expand. With video evidence below, I've made the decision to warn you all about him as well as strongly encourage everyone to AVOID PLAYING WITH TWEETY!!!

I can NOT stress this enough. Tweety feeds on your aggravation and frustration. He WANTS people to join into his games and be beaten by his cheats because he thrives on the toxicity. He's one of those kinds of people, and with that said, it's imperative that you avoid him at all costs. If he joins in, leave. If you join in and see him, leave. Do NOT play with Tweety. He wants your attention and I, personally, refuse to give that to him after this post. You all should do the same.

I will continue to urge others to avoid him, but let this be a warning to you all:
Tweety is a menace and a danger to the integrity of fair matches within the community. His toxicity, if left unchecked, could ruin DNF as we know it and I refuse to let that happen! Please, inform your Duke friends as well and urge them to NOT play against Tweety. He is a threat to your games and your sanity. Avoid him at any cost. If you truly have any more questions, please feel free to message me directly so I can explain further. I will also leave a quick brief below the video link listing the exploits/cheats that Tweety is known to use.

Speed Hack (Faster movement speed)
Insta-Kill Weapons

Lag Switch (Possibly linked to teleporting movement)
Wall Hack (See through walls)

PLEASE NOTE: Suspected cheats are NOT confirmed cheats. There is a chance that he doesn't actually use the cheats mentioned, but it's worth noting in case he actually does.
-Although some members have claimed he is in possession of an "aimbot," that's simply not true. Tweety benefits from Duke Nukem Forever's poor netcode and thus some shots register more hits than intended. This, in turn, appears to be an "aimbot," but it's just the game itself giving his bad connection a bit of compensation.

P.S.S.: Tweety tends to change his name FREQUENTLY, to an excessive and unhealthy level. Remain vigilant and if you doubt that the person you’re playing with is actually who they say they are, please refer to the profile link provided above. Don’t be fooled.

Please be advised that I do NOT want members of this community to go attacking Tweety directly. He is not to be argued with or harassed. Simply avoid any and all contact with Tweety. This has been a public DNF service announcement. Thank you for your time, and have some happy, safe gaming!
