You are travelling as part of a caravan from Mistledale to Highmoon. The old road you have taken to avoid the wartorn fields of Sembia winds ever deeper into the wild forest that spreads over the foothills of the Thunder Peaks.

For several nights now you have been hearing strange noises coming from the woods and the calling of voices in the dark. And now people have started disappearing.
