This is where Deep Red will develop

This group will serve as a place themed with the "Deep Red" universe from the trilogy of novels I've commited to actually finishing.

Your gameplay will help inspire characters I'll base on you, and lend them spunk and mannerisms, as well as personality and traits.

Proficiencies you consistently show or meanuvers that demonstrate attitude will be discussed in the forums and will become part of your character's personality. Each member may inspire multiple characters and will have a say in who and what they'll be.

This group starts with my very closest friend and my very closest love, and is very personal. It'll expand, but not much -- never, ever will this group exceed nine people, and I doubt it will exceed six.

Share things we'll all find hella interesting in the forums. Let's keep our chats in the forums so we have records of our most interesting discussions.

Half Life: Source was pretty much Half Life with ragdoll physics.

Half Life: Black Mesa is pretty much the biggest erection I've ever had for a fan-made game trailer:

The "game" is a total conversion for Half Life 2's Source engine, which is refined to about Episode 2. A future release will be available on Steam, and will include the entire campaign, whereas it currently goes through the first half. Roughly to the Xen levels.

Guys, this game was made by some of the people who made Command and Conquer (Westwood)

To play it, you need only the Source SDK under "tools" in your Steam library. Any Steam client can download the Source SDK for free it's about 2 gigs and contains more or less the fat of the Source engine.

New Hamachi server and setup

The new Hamachi server is up, it's ID is 260-762-617, password airsoft. James, there's a few tweaks we gotta do to our Hamachi clients. Easy enough.

Step 1: Go to "adapter settings" under the "network and sharing center" in your control panel.

Step 2: You should an "advanced" tab above the network adapter icons, (file - edit - view - tools - advanced) if not, hit "alt" on your keyboard and it'll appear. Click "advanced settings" under the "advanced" tab.

Step 3: In advanced settings, select Hamachi from Connections -list, and click the up arrow until Hamachi is on top. Save changes by pressing OK.

Step 4: Go back to "adapter settings" and select the "hamachi adapter", click "properties" and make sure IPV6 is unchecked while IPV4 is checked.

Step 5: Next, select the ipv4 protocal, and go to properties. You'll be at the DNS server thing now, but leave it all automatic. We don't need static IP addresses here. Just click "Advanced" at the bottom.

Step 6: At the bottom of the new window, make sure "Automatic Metric" is UNCHECKED. Then set the number below that to just "1".
