PlayStation's Sun-Themed Share of the Week Brings Six Games Into the Light

PlayStation’s latest Share of the Week roundup centers on a single theme: the sun. The featured community images pull from a range of settings, including sci-fi, fantasy, anime-inspired adventures, and large open-world landscapes, all united by bright lighting and dramatic skyward framing.

Among the highlights, Saros shows Arjun standing beneath an eclipsed sun, with the orange light casting the alien terrain into sharp silhouette. In Ghost of Yōtei, Atsu is framed on a cliff above a sunlit valley, with distant mountains and a pink horizon giving the image a calm, painterly feel.

Other entries lean into warmth and color in different ways. A Horizon Forbidden West screenshot captures Aloy reaching toward the sun as golden light falls across the rocks behind her, while Sea of Stars uses the sun behind a mountain to contrast against the game’s vivid buildings and foliage.

Where Winds Meet 1.8 Gets Another Round of Fixes for Training Terrace and More

Where Winds Meet has received another round of Version 1.8 fixes, with the July 17 update focused entirely on the Training Terrace Preliminary Mode. The latest changes address five issues in that test space, continuing the post-launch cleanup for the large 1.8 update.

According to the Steam announcement, the corrections cover several gameplay systems. Divinecraft, Dragon’s Breath: Smolder, and Soulshade Umbrella’s Hidden Sword: Dash should now work properly in the mode, while unusual character stats have been corrected and Gear Attunement has been restored.

This follows earlier 1.8 follow-up patches that targeted a wider spread of content, including guild features, events, Homestead content, arena rules, and other system adjustments. The steady stream of fixes suggests the developer is still refining both new and returning features after the version’s rollout.

For players, the update mainly matters to those testing Training Terrace, where skill behavior and progression-related systems are now closer to their intended state. Version 1.8 continues to see targeted maintenance across combat, events, and platform-specific features as feedback comes in.
