Giving each other stuff cuz we don't buy enough

First off, I wasn't sure who wanted in and who didn't, so I invited everybody who asked to be in and some more people. If you don't want to participate, either post as such or send me a message. Also, if you do want to participate, please indicate as such if you haven't already done so.

Okay, here's how I'm thinking it's gonna work:

I'm gonna wait until Sunday morning to let people join and get everything situated, then I will use a random number generator to assign people to gift each other. I'll privately notify these people of who they are gifting for to keep the Secrecy of s̶a̶t̶a̶n̶ Santa in place. Since I will know who is gifting me, I guess I can distribute the gifts to further keep the secret ♥♥♥♥ going on...unless someone has a better idea.

Everybody should rank their wishlist, because this is what people will have to go off of. Buying rules is 5 dollar spending limit, so rank your wishlist accordingly - don't be a dumbass and put Assassin's Creed Black Flag at the top of your wishlist, you're not gonna get it. It's a holiday gift, so you don't need to adhere to the 75% off rule...if something is 66% off at five bucks go for it.

The one major thing to work around is the anxiety that comes with "OMG SHOULD I BUY THIS WHAT IF MY SECRET SANTA IS GOING TO BUY IT FOR ME!?!" There are a few ways to work around this...one way is that we could restrict gift buying to the pool from daily sales or ongoing sale-long sales (no glitches/flash sales). As soon as you buy the gift, send it to me, and I can send it to the giftee. We could also set a deadline then - if you don't send me the gift buy 9 PM the night before the daily deal expires, then don't bother sending me one. This gives me enough time to either give the gift to the giftee or at least let them know they are getting one, so they know whether or not they should buy a game they're looking at (given the 48 hour length of dailies, this gives them like 16 hours to buy a game).

Also, not really related, but if there's some insane price glitch plz be awesome and buy a couple extras as gift copies. I'm still butt hurt as all hell I missed out on dat Dishonored. Even if you buy too many, you can take it to the trading forums and end up profiting from a good glitch.

I dunno if this is a complicated way to go about doing things, or if anybody else has any better ideaz...THOUGHTS MAH'♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?
