#stepTeam is a style of Plugg that has really started in the year 2024. this is a newer style of plugg that has a heavy emphasis on off-beat drum patterns, with a main perc always hitting on the 1/4, hence the name "stepteam", (influence from footwork) with percs, hats, and snares constantly placed into triplet and quadruplet rolls around the beat. many if not all of these beats also tend to sample super well-known melodies from popular songs, mostly hip-hop, around the 21st century. this style of plugg also heavily emphasizes on super distracting fox & fx that fills every dead space in the beat, somewhat similar to early hoodtrap/jerk stuff that kashpaint would do.
