Nacon Compact Controller not Compatible?
It's not recognized as PS4-Controller but as PS3-Controller, which doesn't allow the touchpad to work.

I managed to get one of these to test and unfortunately turning on PS4 support will not work with the current driver it uses in Windows. I have an email thread with the Nacon people and if this gets resolved I'll ping you.

sorry for necro but I found this thread while searching for info. Is this issue still there? I know it's related to the controller and the drivers but maybe you found a solution. I don't have it but I'm considering buying one (after my steam controller order was cancelled :lunar2019madpig: )

You have to activate some checkmarks in the controller options for I think the Playstation controller-compatibility.

The problem is that the device shows up as an Xbox controller in Windows and not PS4 controller. There's not really much to be done about it. It still technically works but there's no touchpad or gyro support.

Hi, I thought I would chip in to this. I bought this controller thinking that it was PC compatible, but its not. Its PS4 only which means there are no official drivers for it. But Windows recognises it as an Xbox controller and Steam recognises it as a PS3 controller. I returned mine to the store and exchanged it for a Gioteck VX4.

They are the same. Since this thread I asked NACON about it directly and they said they have no plans to change it.

Its enabled in steam controller config but not working. I wish to fix it for Spiderman right around the corner please :D_
