Is there any possibility to add images for non steam games?

Since this is the thread that shows up under search, I guess I'll list how to fix your Big Picture mode images if you're unsure of how to do so for Non-Steam games.

You will need to know the AppID for the Non-Steam game title. If you change your games file location or name of the shortcut on Steam, you will need to get a new AppID just like with normal images when you make any changes disappear due to the AppID string changing.

To get the AppID for Non-Steam games, all you need to do is right click the game on Steam > Manage and click Add desktop shortcut.

Once you have the shortcut on the desktop just right click the shortcut created and click Properties. Click the Web Document tab and under URL: you will see and launching string, at the end you will see a long string of numbers, that is your Non-Steam AppID. Copy that and rename your images to the name and drag it into your Grid Folder. Restart/Launch Big Picture Mode to see the new image.

I've discovered several things about changing images for non-steam shortcuts:

- The icon at the left of games in the list at the left of the Library Home view can be changed here:
Right click list entry; select Properties...; click CHOOSE ICON.

- The grid image on the right pane of the Library Home view can be changes here:
Right click grid image; select "Set custom artwork"

- The grid image in Big Picture view can be changed here:
Open game; click "Manage Shortcut"; select "Change Icon..."

Note: The first two take a copy of the image, but (at least at this time), the last one does not. If you remove the source image, it will disappear in Big Picture view. Steam should fix this.Failing that, this dialog should at least display the current path setting.

It sure would be nice if Steam documented all of this, rather than forcing us all to discover it the hard way.
