How To Disable Keyboard UI?

I am using my steam controller to test a game i am making, and when i am using it. the freaking keyboard Ui pops up and makes me lose. It pisses me off and i want to turn it off.

Sounds like you are using desktop config in game. You need to either switch Steam Input off, or enable controller type to suit your controller for a default gamepad config in game or create a custom gamepad config specific for your game.


Spend more time learning how Steam Input works, especiallly global configs.

With Steam running in large mode on desktop go to Steam > Settings > Controller > Desktop Configuration and navigate to the button which is set to "show keyboard" and select it

go to Click Action and select it

and then Show Activators

and then try changing the Activation Type from reguular press to long press
