Custom Boot Animations

I have kind of an issue with the standard boot animation of Steam. First of all I don't really like the look of it, but the sound is a pain in the ♥♥♥, if you ask me. (e.g when starting via Steam Link often it's far too loud)

It's very easy to change this anmiation, given one has a nice alternative. (Put file in folder and mark as "read only")
The current animation is to be found here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\tenfoot\resource\images\intro_movie.webm

There's already a suitable alternative one can use if the animation is supposed to be skipped entirely:

And one file by an Animus-Wallpaper Fan, but not that beautiful and quite loud, too:

My question is:
Does anyone have an idea where to get nice alternative animations, best would be if they where already in the needed .webm format - but any other type is okay. Is there a page to download nice animations/sounds? Anything aesthetical would do the trick.

The main question is, does Steam put the default intro movie back every time there is a client update?

I've been trying to change mine to a 1ms blank video, and every time steam launches it renames and replaces intro_movie.webm.

I have to boot steam with the sound muted to avoid blasting my Phantoms apart.
