Judging on what I know about Valve’s company culture, the people working on BPM probably just got bored or were needed for some other project. In all honesty though, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were even pulled off the project because Steam Machines never really made an impact. And considering BPM was the method valve pushed to use steam on both steam machines and Steam Link, it would make sense to drop regular support for it.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they cut the feature altogether within the next 2-3 years.
Agreed. BPM has been out since 2012, and nearly everywhere you look something is broken. Such a middle finger to a part of the community, whether original pc players who want a tv experience to console players who migrated to steam to use this feature.

Is that still relevent and up to date?
P.S. I really do not experience any input lag with my xbox controllers after i turned off vsync in al games. The new Nvidia function VSYNC fast does also the trick, almost no screen tearing because of the 60fps restriction on a HDMI connection (in my case).
Have you also tried using the default template for your xbox controller?
I use the latest beta.
All those links cite the same tweet. I'd believe it if they had actually made any significant periodic updates this year. Also I think that's the latest public/major announcement regarding BP. I could be wrong though.
Also to clarify, I only experience the lag when BP is on. Playing games normally doesn't give me any lag whatsoever. In the BP menu and in games launched through BP, I experience said lag. Definitely not tied to nvidia settings.
Is Vsync automatically enabled for BP? If so, how do I disable?
