How do YOU find matching traders?

Hey all,

I am looking for a more efficient way to find potential traders. Currently I am:

1. opening a Wishlist item
   
2. opening all Tradeable user profiles in a new tab
   
3. closing the ones without a Match
   
4. comparing matched item values

Steps 1-3 are tedious. Ideally, there'd be a list of matching traders on the item page.

How are you doing this? Is there a userscript for this? Am I missing a site feature?

Have you tried mutual matches? Follow these steps:

• Click on you profile image on the top right corner.
  
• Click on "Wishlist"
  
• Click on "Match"
  
• Pick a game you want to find matches for in the "Want" combo box
  
• Click on "Mutual Matches"

A list of all users having your selected game for trade will appear, along with matches from your Tradable collection.

From then onward just click on the button "Begin Offer to <X>" for every trader you find a match suitable for you.

When I first opened the page, I thought it was just bad coding, allowing me to match myself. I didn't see the game selector.

You've unveiled the most useful site feature of all :)

BTW, you don't need to pick a game on the combo box. If you don't, you'll get all possible matches, although with big lists it can be a little messy.

Also, the Mutual Matches feature works from your Tradable collection as well, for the case when you have a game for trade and want to see what can you get for it.
