Client MFC Application Has Stopped Working (FIX?)

Didn't see it on the list, but it's worth mentioning that if they're trying to play the game in windowed mode, that can cause the game to crash too.

*Edit: If you're running under Windows 10, it's worth trying to set the game engine executable (that'd be "lithtech.exe", not the launcher!) to 'Windows 98 / ME' compatibility mode under the file properties, as this is how I fixed this particular crash error for myself.

I'm not a user of it personally, but this probably goes for Windows 8/8.1 too...

We tried fixing this with the LithFAQ Master Server mod, but were never able to pinpoint why and how it happens. I think its more to do with the engine executable, which we never got the source code for to fix. So... Yeah.

You weren't even around in the hey dey of AVP2. I haven't stopped "fighting" I simply have 1 hour per night to spend with family. Not piss around online with strangers. Fact.

Same here, I've gotten this error on every Lithtech engine game I own, whether Blood II, Avp II, Nolf, Nolf 2. I've tried seemingly every fix that's been put out, I've disabled antivirus, I've tried running in compatibility and as admin. Nothing seems to work, I'm currently looking into Turning off G-sync but I don't think my Asus Rog G20 supports it to begin with. If anyone could help I'd love to know!!!

Enable "Run as Admin" option and Windows 98/ME compatibility on the "PrimalHunt.exe" or "AVP2.exe" (whichever you're trying to get to run) NOT "lithtech.exe" and you should be good to go. Just did this on windows 10. Game launches flawlessly, it just doesn't seem to detect my keyboard, most likely because it's wireless.
