[Non-ASF] Got banned on gleam.io (sitewide)

2 things

1- Not too smart name BOT to a bot, just because many ppl on security works ban this names on everything.

2- That's rare, because Gleam.io ever says me that "Sorry, you're creating too many entries; try again later." if I try of take 2 giveaways on the same IP, I supouse that you used 12 differents IPs, 1 for each bot ? thats weird.

Yep, I tried many different IPs and clearing cookies too. Still, no effect. I agree it wasn't smart to name them BOTs.

Probably name has nothing to do with it, it's a combination of several facts, mostly IP address (but probably also web browser user agent and more to avoid false positives). Somebody actually spent time on implementing a system that will catch such attempts.

ASF was never created to allow you abusing free services. It was mostly created to allow one send his extra bundle keys he's not interested in to one of his bots, so he can receive cards back without a need of trading or such. The way you're using ASF is up to you, and I'm not here to decide what's good and what's bad, but as with every smaller and bigger abuse - use logical thinking and do not overextend. I'm somehow happy that those services are being aware of the problem because personally I don't like any free game promotion, it's abusable by definition, and devs can't understand that they're causing more harm than good to their own title.

@BirdCute, I was using another script (https://github.com/Tackyou/Gleam.io-Autosolve)
So it's not script-related, I think, it's just the same IPs/nicknames.

Well, we were both using autosolve scripts, so there's no other option than our issue being script-related ;)

@BirdCute, I still don't think so :D Script just does whatever you'll do manually.
I doubt they somehow measure time between completing actions..
Some of my friends got such bans too. Looks like gleam.io started a war against us :(

It does what you would do manually, yes, but it does it waaay faster ;)
Like, in less than a second. Enough for raising suspicion, which obviously happened with Gleam.

I got banned from gleam

I emailed their support and got this:

Me:

Hi! For a two days when trying to enter ANY gleam.io entries i get this error "Sorry, you're creating too many entries; try again later." and i have waited the said two days so how long is "try again later?" :)

Them:

Our fraud filter now actively bans users that are using scripts to enter (since it's against our TOS). Depending on the severity the ban can be anywhere from 1 month to permanent.

Be happy if you get banned from that craphole :) There are plenty of free games that don't require you to own and click through 666 social media sites or cheating that with scripts, never even bothered with them after first look at what crap they want.

Did you guys that got banned enter the same gleam giveaways multiple times or just were you just using the auto solve scripts for a mass amount of gleam giveaways? I've entered over 150 in the last couple days with the auto solvers and now im kinda spooked.

I was only using the auto-solver script on one giveaway. I guess it wasn't a good script.

I used auto.solver in few giveaways. less than ten i think.

Yeah, i got an reply from there. I also stated which script i used when i replied to them. Here is their reply:

The ban for usage of this script is 1 month.
