Farming method.

Hi, Archi!

For example my bot acct gets 3 new games at once all with cards and this acct is not card drops restricted.

Why ASF would farm games one by one at this situation, wouldn't it be quicker, if it will farm them simultaneously in the beginning, so each of them will drop a card after 1,5 hours?

Restricted accs only start dropping cards after 2 hours of gameplay, and non restricted accounts normally have all cards dropped when it reaches 1,5 hours, and they can drop a card when 10 minutes have passed since the game is open. So no, i don't think having multiple games running at the same time in non restricted accs would have any advantage ;)

tldr: When you play more than 1 game at same time, the card drop chance will dropped to almost 0.

"Simple" will the best if you don't have card drops restricted because cards will drop before 2 hours
"Complex" will work better for account that have card drops restricted because they can't drop card before 2 hour, so ASF will play all game and after 2 hour, one by one

10 mins? For my non restr. acct 1st drop happens usually after 1,5 hours. Thats why I asked my Q.

Well, on my non restricted acc that happens... Sometimes 10 mins of idling is enough for the 1st card to drop, maybe because it's an old acc with no refunds made.

card drop rate is set by devs and your luck
Some games have low card drop rates (15 min) but other games have the maximum time (2 hours).
Unless steam changed that, yes, it was an option for developers to choose.

I just bought BundleStars Dollar Galaxy Bundle so I have 21 of 25 games to farm. I changed my settings to CardDropRestricted = False, since my account is not restricted:

Does this mean that in worse case I have to wait 21 * 3h = 63h to get all cards?
Or can I change settings so all 21 games idle at the same time? According to status (!sa) ASF is farming two games. Not sure I understand why status is 2 games. If ASF can idle 2 at the same time why not 21? (first 2 games was done after 1.5h)

Edit 1: New status: farming 1 game from total 19 games 71 cards left (~1d and 12h left)

Edit 2: Change my settings back to:
CardDropRestricted = True
According to status I'm now farming 19 games multiple (complex algoritm). Time to finish increased to (~1d and 13h left), but I'm not sure this is true, normally many cards are dropping before 2h since my account is not restricted, farming multiple sounds preferable.
I have read wiki many times but not sure I understand
Is there any reason not to have settings CardDropRestricted = False, even if my account is not restricted?

Edit 3: In the same moment 19 cards was dropping. Status is now 52 card left (~1d and 4h left)

Edit 4: Now I'm farming only 1 game just as described in wiki for complex algoritm.

Edit 5: Is this correct? "If CardDropsRestricted is set to true, Complex algorithm will be used, if not, Simple algorithm will be used instead." I think it's this line that confuse me. It's look like only when CardDropsRestricted is set to false, Complex algorithm is used.

ASF states that as part of !status. Unless you mean if you have "card drops restricted", then there is no way to check that, as stated in performance section on the wiki.
