Windows 10/8 problems FAQ

Hi dear group members,

We have received a lot of comments at game pages that some of you have got problems with our games in Windows 8/10. So, we decided to make a FAQ on how to solve it.

So, if any games doesn't launch at any Windows or MAC systems:

1) Please, totally delete a titles from your PC: use right mouse click on game name inside the client (at your Library) and choose delete a title.
2) Install it once again.
3) If game still doesn't run than follow next instructions block:

a) Please, make sure that your PC/MAC meets minimum requirements at the game page. If not - we are really sorry but your PC is aged more than 10 years.
b) Please, make sure that your video drivers are up to date.

If everything is OK, you drivers are up-to-date than please, write an e-mail with your problem and DXDiag to the following address: [e-mail].

If you are running Windows 8 or 10 and game doesn't launch:

1) Please, totally delete a titles from your PC: use right mouse click on game name inside the client (at your Library) and choose delete a title.
2) Install it once again.
3) If game still doesn't run than follow next instructions block:

a) Please, open your Steam client and find a game at the left side.
b) Right click at the game and choose the last option - settings.
d) Inside a folder at your PC - please, find exe file.
e) right click on exe file and than choose second option called compatibility.
f) follow instructions there to set Windows XP or 7 compatibility mode
g) Launch a game.

How to change Game Language:

a) Please, open your Steam client and find a game at the left side.
b) Right click at the game and choose the last option - settings.
c) Choose the last tap called Language
d) Choose a language you'd like to use for that particular game from the list.
e) Enjoy your play!

Unfortunately it does not work on my Windows 10 system. I tried to reinstall and changed compatibility. Do you have any other solution?

I've had these games on my wish list for awhile and was finally able to get them as a gift to myself. Issue is - it messes with my resolution on the monitor it launches on- there's no way to change the video. Trying to locate the troubleshooting steps listed above- but there isn't a "settings" option when I right click on the application either in or outside the steam client. Is there anyway to change the settings so its not as huge or "pushing" items on my other monitor over to the far right hand side of that monitor? It's not even in a widescreen setting. Just full, and I've changed the mouse icon to use the windows setting also but same issue.
I'm not sure what to look for in the folders as compatibility isn't an option either and I'm actually not even seeing an .exe. file - This is Win 11
