Facts on Navy SEALs:

Navy SEALS are an elite / special units within the U.S. Navy founded by John F. Kennedy år1962.
Seal is an acronym for Sea, Air, the nation. Corresponding coastal hunters in Sweden.

A precursor to the Navy SEAL was founded in fact as early as år1943 and was then called NCDU (Navy Combat Demolition Unit) they consisted of voluntary swimmer specializing willing to clear the beaches before the landings, and thus were the first to land in Normandy willing D-Day in 1962 changed the name of the Navy SEALs.
