Discord is a free VoIP and chat program that is meant for gaming. It runs lite in the background, can have open mic or push-to-talk so teams can coordinate their plays, can have many voice channels so multiple groups can play simultaneously, and text channels for discussion/links/vids/pics/filesharing.
Also it has a mobile app. It's basically what Skype wishes it was and is better than teamspeak. Use your Google powers and download it.
