Trying to get it to run on a secondary monitor
Hi, so I recently set my PC up next to my TV, which I have been using as a secondary monitor to play games. I downloaded this program in the first place so I could try and get games to play without the annoying border on my TV, however, when I add the window to the program, it only ever starts in on my primary monitor (my actual PC monitor), and since the window is borderless, I can't move it to the other one. I can't figure out how to get it to start in my secondary (TV), borderless. I noticed that I can change the position using the offset but I have no idea how to figure out what position my secondary would begin at.

Sorry if this is something super obvious that I'm just missing; I'm still relatively new to PC gaming, always been more of a console guy, and usually use Mac for general web browsing and school purposes.

This works for all modes, windowed, borderless and fullscreen.

if the resolution of your first monitor would be 1920x1080 then your second monitor would start at 1921.

you will have to manually add it to games you already added to the program.
But future games you add can use the coords automatically if you set them in the " global settings"

Okay, so I played around with a bunch of different offsets, since a lot of them, like both + and - 1921 x [anything] would basically just cause the game to disappear from view entirely, and I realized that setting the X offset to -1361 (my TV's resolution is 1360x768 which I don't think is particularly common?? lol) put the game about halfway down my TV, but seemed to take up the entire width of the screen. With a little experimenting, it appears that -1361 x 300 makes the game appear in full-screen on my TV. So, yay, I figured it out.

Except, I don't think it's supposed to work that way? So this is fine for now but if anybody has any idea why it would be doing this, I'm all ears. There's probably something royally messed up with my display settings. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

edit: side note I also set my resolution to 1360x768 and there was a little bit of empty space showing my desktop so through some more experimentation I discovered the resolution of my TV is actually the unholy number of 1361x771

edit, again: apparently this is a per-game basis because Tomb Raider 2013 now opens perfectly fullscreen on my TV but Stardew Valley takes up like two thirds of my screen and won't even take up the entire width, and OCCASIONALLY I'll get it to work but it refuses to fill the entire resolution, but apparently I can just drag the window to my TV and then fullscreen it and it works, which is not something that works with like any of my other games i am so bad with technology it's not even funny sometimes

If your TV is before your #1 monitor (didn't know that was a possibillity) then the correct position would be -1360
That 1 pixel might cause the taskbar to show entirely if that screen has one.
Your tv can not exceed the resolution you've set for it, so if windows says it's 1360x768 then windows renders a picture of that resolution.
You're empty space is a different problem. might just be that the game is not covering the entire screen due to that 1 pixel.

Yeah my TV sits to the left of my desk so I set it before my primary monitor so I could move my cursor to the left and end up on the TV. I initially had it set up to where the TV was after my #1 but it felt counterintuitive moving my cursor to the right only to end up to my left lol

So I tried the same thing out with Tales of Symphonia, and the original settings I had for Tomb Raider work perfectly with it, however for some reason it never starts in borderless windowed mode and just starts in normal windowed mode on my #1 monitor, but I can switch it to the TV but reapplying the settings, which is just annoying to have to do but I can make it work lol, though if anybody knows what to do with that that'd be appreciated

Again, I apologize for sounding like a total noob at all this stuff, you'd think as a millennial I'd know how to work a computer, right? haha

Just press the hotkey while ingame (by default it's F4)
I don't own the game, so i can't check why its not doing it automatically.

You are a goddamn life saver. I can't believe I couldn't find anything about this before. Thank you so much!!!

Perhaps i should make it to remember the window position automatically, so you can just move it like RedEyedRocker suggested and it would remember the position next time you launch the game.
