Touchmote Modifications
Since I've noticed people asking and that there hasn't been much activity here lately, I thought it'd be nice to share a few x64 Touchmote builds that have some very nice features added, especially for FPS titles.

Travis Nickles Deadzone
https://github.com/simphax/Touchmote/issues/65
https://gist.github.com/Ryochan7/5c939fd53c508ad63a59

FLYFPS Mode
https://github.com/flytech01/Touchmote
You'll of course need Touchmote installed, and then to sign the .exe for your system in order to use them.
Credits go to Simon Nilsson, Travis Nickles, Filátz Róbert, DevNullx64

I need it where I can use my controller home button on wiimote

I believe the Home button can still be mapped and used despite the function to hold it, bringing up the OSD in Windows.

Here is a direct link to the build that flytech01 pushed 13 days ago. We're left to assume that no further changes have been made, so functionality should be the same as the builds I've provided above. After installing 1.0 b14 from Touchmote.net, you'd simply re-sign the .exe and launch that instead. All documentation is on https://github.com/flytech01/Touchmote

I've also edited the initial post's download link to include Travis Nickles's latest gist modifications.

Hey i make good progress. got my wiimote to pair up with blue tooth and i installed the touch mode from the touchmote.net site. So now how do i use the FlyFPS touchmode exe? i get an error when trying to launch it from its own folder. any ideas? and do i need to copy paste the settings file?

Touchmote uses a test certificate and as a result each .exe modification needs to be signed on the same computer. If you download the .zip in my initial post you'll find a batch script that will sign every included build. The build you want to run should be in the Program Files\Touchmote\ directory when launched.
Travis Nickles is another developer who has been writing modifications to Touchmote Mouse/Camera view IR code. Check the links in the initial post for videos and information.
It's really hard to say which is "closest" to say CoD on the Wii because on that platform you have a free aim cursor within a camera deadzone, which you obviously wouldn't have on the PC. If you played on the Wii without a deadzone, either of these options (flytech01, Ryochan7, GlovePIE) will feel very familiar with the appropriate settings, but it's obviously subjective.

Yeah i know, what i cant undestand is why wont pc makers make their games compatible for that kind of controller... like all that VR shit thats going on and is calming down and soon maybe drop allthogether. Thanks for the help again i got closer yet again thanks to you. :) i forgot to look at your initial post for the downloads. when i get home i will try again.

what order do i execute the files? i have touchmote installed, do i copy paste all the files to touchmote install folder then execute FLYFPS.exe ect.? Then signtool.exe? And then what do i do with TouchMotex64Release folders files?

Any help with getting same kind of controls as in hte doom videos from Flytech?

Again I don't believe he's made any changes to the code, so his build should perform exactly the same as the ones I've provided. As for actual usage, you'll probably want to go straight to the source with any FLYFPS questions as I usually use GlovePIE 1 dot I R by default and Ryochan7's work for special circumstances. In my experience though based on what you've said about your aim pitching, sounds like the IR camera isn't seeing the LEDs, or you're not using a mouse camera/view profile. You should also familiarize yourself with Touchmote before venturing into modifications that provide additional settings. Good luck!

I tried all the default settings and then i tried to make new profile all the mouse settings (red ones one at a time). And i tired all the .exe files that worked to me. didnt see any difference, only with FLYFPS in mouse settings there where a (red mouse setting labeled FlyGPS) do i need to copy paste some sting of txt to some file in touchmote install folder? or an file :/

Hey sorry for this being quiet for a while, these are nice links.

latest progress will interest you- and there will be a reveal in a big way next month.

I have been working directly with Touchmote creator using a specialized wiimote control scheme that does the following:

- software allows an overlay for easily binding wiimote to act as a keyboard/mouse/xbox360 gamepad AND gestures all simultaneously giving you a massive amount of input options.

- for ex- you can use mouse emulated aim while using the rest of the wiimote as seen as an xbox controller so that you can easily navigate big picture more.

- multiple control uses:
- windows mode for point and click easy interface
- 2 kinds of FPS control that both give fine aim and clean control without having to use aim assistance, rachet control or separate 'fine aim' control to counter act the weakness in emulated mouse FPS control usually seen even in the above examples given.
- a unique TRUE AIM mode- that allows you to have a steady line of sight aiming with the wiimote instead of a drag mouse mode.

- the interface is stupid easy to use- and allows a lot of flexibility

- video to come in the following week for your review.

Now hype is wonderful, but if it isn't open source, I don't think there'll be many takers.

Sounds like it is going to be good. If it turns out to work well, you might want to see if you can work with Valve as well to see if the two can work together to get Wii remote support integrated into the Steam Client / Steam's Big Picture Mode using it.
