Vortex 8 | The Largest Tornado Research Project in GMOD History

Welcome to Vortex 8. Vortex 8 is about gathering data, making predictions, and saving lives. We use state-of-the-art equiptment to get us close to a tornado.

Hi and Welcome! Vortex 8 is a Highly Realistic, Roleplay Storm Chasing team. We have our own fairly small, but not laggy at all server. Since we are a roleplay Storm Chasing community, and trolls or wanne-be trolls will be immiediatly perma banned, and will not get unbanned. No exceptions. Same goes with anyone else who does not feel like following the rules. This is a realistic community of Storm Chasing in GMOD 13, if you're going to piss around, go somewhere else, if you're going to follow the rules and not act like a 3 year old *cough* 3 is there for a reason *cough*, then Welcome!

The best way to find our server is to use the Legacy Browser inside of GMOD, and use it's helpful search server feature and search the name: Vortex 8. Once you join the server, just look into your server history in GMOD under the multiplayer menu to join quickly.

For your convinence, we have all of the addons that we use for our server in 1 place. All you have to do is go to the link below, and press the button "Subscribe to All". I reccomend starting up GMOD, going to this link, pressing Subscribe All before joining the server every time. I'm reccomending this since the WorkShop has had been glitchy, and this should fix your problems with addons not loading.

The addon that is not included with the link above is the SVN Version of the Sickness Model Pack. You have to google/youtube it yourself to figure out how to install it.

Our group consists of a couple members now, but only a few are going to be chosen to be in the Team itself. Currently there are 3 people in the team. Once you get chosen, you can go ahead and put |V.8| as a tag infront of your name. Each of our vehicles are different!
