I found out that the internet connection from US MvM #4 can handle the strain of PvP fairly well. There may be pings of over 100 for mostly everyone in a full to almost full server, but things went okay anyway.
Looks like we need to tone done overheal upgrades from mediguns a little bit by increasing the costs to about where they were over half a decade ago. This could help things be a bit more challenging in MvM, too.
As I suspected, melee weapons need a boost, but maybe only the non-demoman ones.
