UT2004 Servers going offline soon

Our two UT2004 Servers at I3D.net are being taken offline indefinitely soon (listed below).
The main reason for this decision is a long and outstanding connecting and downloading issue that still affects all UT2004 servers to this very day.
A few of you may have become aware of this issue.

I could tell a whole story here, but I'll summarize what this issue is about.

When a player tries connects to any of our UT2004 the player may have to download custom content first before being able to play. The player may notice on their screen that the connection hangs and/or downloads are acting weird. They see the downloads like this:

Connecting, long pause - file 1 - connecting, long pause - file 2 - connecting, long pause - file 3 - connecting, long pause, etc.
When it should be like this:
[instant]
Connecting - file 1 - file 2 - file 3 - file 4, etc.

This can take up to 15 min before the player is allowed entry to the server.
If the player happens to have the server's content physically installed or previously downloaded (cached) they will not encounter this issue and can enjoy their games as normal.
The strangest part of this all is that this issue occurs when mutators are loaded in and seems both dependant and independant of Game Mode selection, in particular InvasionPro.
It does not happen when mutators are not loaded in right away on a fresh restart. In a few cases where mutators are loaded in it may seem fixed but will occur as soon as the second map is loaded.

This issue came to my attention back in December 2015 and till this very day remains unexplainable. The issue is obviously with the GSP (I3D) and not on our end as both our UT2004 servers operate in pretty much the same way for many years, in terms of setup and configuration, and one server hasn't received any updates for roughly 1.5 years. How long this issue is exactly going on is unknown, but *snap* at some point it was suddenly there.

I have been in contact with support for over a month and thus far they are unable to pinpoint the issue and have it resolved within a reasonable timeframe. Patience is running thin and there is only so much I can do. Therefore I have decided to pull the plug.

The following UT2004 servers at I3D.net are being discontinued.

Server 1:
• DevilsHeaven.eu InvasionPro v1.7 DeathHouseRPG 1.4 w/SMP
  IP: 213.163.69.31
  Online until: 2 February 2016
  Existing player RPG data will be preserved.
  
  Server 2*:
  
• DevilsHeaven.eu [BETA] | Multi-GameMode | DruidsRPG InvPro 1.7 | BW 2.5 DM
  IP: 213.163.69.200
  Online until: 19 January 2016
  No player RPG data will be preserved - Server in Beta mode.

Note:
A third server may be seen in the ingame browser. This is a test UT2004 server set up on my request and is a direct 1-on-1 copy of server 1.

  Existing player RPG data may partially be processed into file for server 1

* The server's name is different, but listed as such for familiarity sake.

This unfortunate news does not necessarily mean the end of us though. :)
