Stean GreenLight Coming Soon...

Steam Greenlight is a new system that enlists the community's help in picking some of the next games to be released on Steam. Developers post information, screenshots, and videos for their game and seek a critical mass of community support in order to get selected for distribution. Steam Greenlight also helps developers get feedback from potential customers and start creating an active community around their game as early in the development process as they like.


Цифровой сервис Steam с августа этого года будет дополнен системой Greenlight, которая позволит пользователям голосовать за еще не вышедшие игры. Это не аналог Kickstarter, и пользователи сервиса не будут выделять денег на разработку. Вместо этого разработчики, которые уже готовы к созданию игры или находятся в процессе, смогут размещать материалы по проекту на Steam. Если при этом у игры наберется определенное количество голосов, то она будет издана в цифровом формате на этом сервисе.

Чтобы появиться в Steam Greenlight, разработчику нужно лишь оформить заявку, соответствующую следующим требованиям:

- Квадратное изображение, аналогичное обложке диска и представляющее игру в списке и в поиске;
- По меньшей мере, один видеоролик, показывающий игру или представляющий концепцию;
- По меньшей мере, четыре скриншота;
- Описание игры с предварительными требованиями к системе.
