I'm not silver and let me say that it takes time for the new ranks to settle down. The reality is that you were always a lower rank after the Revolvo update and the game was waiting for you to loose so that you derank. It sucks but wait a couple more weeks for the ranks to stabilize. Valve lowered the thresholds for ranks so that it was harder to reach higher ranks and there weren't that many siilvers. Just emjoy each comp and don't worry about deranking :)
